Through our events, we inspire and empower students of all ages to pursue college by providing insight to all the opportunities STEM has to offer. The Hispanic community is underrepresented in undergraduate/graduate STEM programs, and consequently less than 2 percent of the STEM workforce is Hispanic, while almost 20 percent of the country’s youth population is Hispanic. We help address this discrepancy by reaching out to the Hispanic community early, targeting both students already considering STEM paths and those that have never had previous exposure to the wonders of science and engineering. We want to help bridge the gap and inspire the next generation of Hispanic leaders, scientists, and engineers to realize their fullest potential.
